A bumper week of Ecosystems took place from 6 to 10 May 2019 with three separate ecosystems meeting in Spain, Romania and Northern Ireland.
Starting in Galicia with the Galician Health Ecosystem hosted by the Galician Health Cluster and then on Thursday 9 May, Europe Day, we had the very first meeting of our Transylvania Digital Health by FreshBlood in Romania.
On the same day in Northern Ireland, Derry hosted the meeting of the Northern Ireland Connected Health Ecosystem.
The successful ecosystem meeting in Northern Ireland on the same day as Cluj Napoca gave opportunities for speakers across international projects and members to com together in these busy meetings, forging new networks and relationships.
Highlighting the connectivity membership of the ECHAlliance brings, Andy Bleaden, ECHAlliance’s New Director for Ecosystems said:
“This has been a really exciting week for ECHAlliance with these great ecosystems meetings. It is fantastic to see our latest Ecosystem opening in Cluj Napoca in Romania during the Romanian Presidency of the EU. The direct face to face meetings taking place for our members with the Ministry of Health is exactly the type of opportunity that comes from membership of the Global Network of International Ecosystems. The feedback we had from our members, the local Ministry and Health Cluster encourages us to repeat this again.”
