The University of Edinburgh is offering an exciting new online course in Health Data Science, which aims to equip healthcare professionals with the key foundations and data skills that are needed for data-driven innovation.
Join us to learn about key concepts, principles and methods of data science in health; to develop skills for effective data analysis using the R programming language; and to gain a critical understanding of ethical and legal implications of working with healthcare data.
The course starts on 1st June, it has a duration of 10 weeks and the expected workload is about 10 hours/week.
This is an introductory Masters-level course, and no prior knowledge is needed in data science, statistics or programming.
There are funded places for those who meet Scottish Funding Council funding eligibility requirements.
