The K-HEALTHinAIR project, funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe Programme, is making significant strides in understanding and improving indoor air quality (IAQ) and its health impacts.
Launched in September 2022, K-HEALTHinAIR encompasses 16 partners from eight European countries. The project employs a holistic approach through five distinct pilot studies in various settings, such as hospitals, metro stations, schools and residential areas, each tailored to address specific environmental and health challenges.
This innovative initiative is conducting extensive research through diverse pilot projects across Europe, integrating advanced IAQ monitoring techniques with public health research to tackle the effects of indoor air pollution on high-risk groups and the general population.
