The ViVE event took centre stage in Los Angeles last week, drawing in a crowd of over 7,500 attendees across four vibrant days. With a focus on healthcare providers, the event welcomed a diverse range of organisations, including tech businesses, investors, and startups.

Our stellar ECHAlliance team, comprised of Nicole Althaus and Jon Warner, our two ECHAlliance US Ambassadors, along with Bleddyn Rees, our Deputy Chair, made a significant impact at the event.

Highlights from our experience include:

  • Our ECHAlliance Partner Programme was a success, with a stellar lineup covering Healthy Ageing, Women’s Health, and Data & Digital.
  • Over 5,000 arranged meetings facilitated meaningful connections among the attendees.
  • A Nurses Innovators Pavilion and an expanded Patients Lounge enriched the event’s offerings.
  • AI emerged as the hot topic, featuring in more than 15 sessions.
  • Cedar Sinai Accelerator hosted Paperplane Therapeutics, which provides interactive VR-based CBT to manage pain and anxiety across all age groups, with a special focus on pediatrics.
  • Engaging discussions unfolded with BioScience LA, our latest ecosystem partner, paving the way for exciting future collaborations. Meetings with potential new ecosystems in the US also opened doors for impactful connections.
  • Springboard Enterprises held a fantastic breakfast meeting for women entrepreneurs in healthcare, providing valuable insights on network building. The stage featured three highly successful women CEOs sharing their inspiring journeys.
  • The HLTH Foundation’s promoted their CSweetener virtual mentoring programme for women in healthcare, with a dedicated reception and stage on the exhibition floor.
  • Meetings with esteemed US (and global) members, including GSK, Link-Age, MultiplAI, and Intersystems, further strengthened our network.

The event played a crucial role in expanding our footprint in the US, nurturing the growth of US ecosystems, and fostering international collaborations with organisations across our global network. Hats off to the well-organised event; it was a pleasure to attend, as always with HLTH. Anticipation is building for next year’s VIVE, which will be held in Nashville from February 16th to 19th, 2025.

The bar is set very high for the HLTH Europe launch in Amsterdam in June!

We’re eagerly looking forward to the next chapter.
