With a doctorate in biochemistry and over 15 years of experience in health systems research across Europe and Asia, Gisela has made significant contributions to the field.

Her career highlights include serving as the Managing Director of the Galician Health Cluster (CSG) from mid-2016 to early 2024. During these nearly eight years, she spearheaded a successful internationalisation strategy for companies in the care sector, developed high value-added services, and attracted public funds and investments, significantly benefiting both the ecosystem and the region. Additionally, she established ITGALL, the first Galician social care living lab network, where tech and digital solutions are rigorously tested, and was the ECHAlliance Galician Ecosystem Coordinator.
Now, Gisela is focusing on scaling health and care innovation projects through her Singapore-based brand, LEX GLOBALMINDS. Her latest initiative, the Innovation Super-Highways, aims to create a collaborative platform for businesses in critical sectors, offering opportunities for cross-border collaboration and streamlined market entry, with a focus on Singapore, the EU, and the UK.
