Busy time for PULSE Project, check out the next international events

PULSE @ AAL Forum 23-25 September 2019

PULSE will be at the AAL Forum on the 23-25 September 2019 with a dedicated booth in the Exhibition area which will be open Tuesday 24th from 9.00 to 18.00 and Wednesday 25th from 9.00 to 18.00.

The Active and Assisted Living (AAL) Programme promotes innovative technological product ideas and services for active and healthy ageing, supporting them until they launch on the market. These innovations are presented at the annual AAL Forum, among the largest European events of its kind. The forum provides an excellent opportunity to network within the AAL community and to discuss issues around AAL within workshops, keynote presentations and a large exhibition area.

“The Big Data Revolution for Public Health”

PULSE @ the European Week of Regions and Cities

8th October, Brussels from 16:30 to 19:00

PULSE Project and BaltCityPrevention announced their joint session during the EU Week of Regions and Cities, to offer local policy makers attending a set of actionable tools to design cross-sectoral “Health in All Policies” (HiAP) (Helsinki Statement on Health in All Policies. WHO, Finland 2013). 

The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.

It takes place in Brussels and it welcomes around 6.000 participants in October each year (local, regional, national and European decision-makers and experts) for more than 100 workshops and debates, exhibitions and networking opportunities. To learn more about the programme of this event and to register, please click here here


PULLSE @ 17th International Conference on Smart Living and Public Health

14th-15th October, New York

PULSE co-organizing the 17th ICOST Conference. After sixteen successful editions and building upon the experienced background of the conference founder Istitut Mines-Télecóm, the ICOST 2019 will be hosted by New York University (NYU) and the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) in New York City, USA, from 14th to 15th October 2019.

This year, the organizers have decided to open the conference to public health experts and tackle emerging challenges related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for health and wellbeing. ICOST provides a premier venue for the presentation and discussion of research in the design, development, deployment and evaluation of Artificial Intelligence for health, Smart Urban Environments, Assistive Technologies, Chronic Disease Management, Coaching and Health Telematics systems.
