We are delighted to share that Gartner, a leading research and advisory company, mentioned Better Platform as an example of a digital health platform (DHP). The company describes that the DHP approach is “emerging rapidly as number of leading vendors in this space have released powerful cloud native capabilities to create personalised application experiences.”

The digital health platform was added among new innovation profiles to the Hype Cycle for Healthcare Providers, 2020, report which was published in August and states: “The DHP approach is emerging rapidly as number of leading vendors in this space have released powerful cloud native capabilities to create personalised application experiences. This will break the stronghold of monolithic vendors and circumvent EHR vendor-controlled application marketplaces.

The Hype Cycle for Healthcare Providers, 2020, provides “critical input for strategic planning by tracking the maturity levels and adoption rates of emerging provider technologies and approaches. Healthcare provider CIOs should use this research to plan their investments to optimise and transform their organisations.”

Now, you can access this complimentary report and learn more about:

  • Why digital analytics architecture is a key requirement of the composable digital health enterprise.
  • Packaged business capabilities (PBCs), which are composed of purchased applications, internally developed capabilities, and partner capabilities, chosen by the provider without vendor interference or data blocking.
  • How PBCs can be used by non-technical end users to streamline care delivery, prioritise resources, and deliver positive health experiences and outcomes.
  • Several other technologies that will shape the future of healthcare.

The report analysed “34 innovation profiles that represent specific applications, analytic and technology advances that are germane to healthcare delivery organisations. Each innovation profile provides a definition of the technology, a justification for its position and adoption speed, and actionable advice. Furthermore, each innovation profile includes the benefit rating as assessment of the technology’s market position and relative maturity.”
