With great success and the online presence of more than 400 participants and 80 leading experts in Greece and Europe – representatives of the political leadership, institutional bodies, distinguished academics and executives of the pharmaceutical market – the two-day annual Health IT conference concluded on June 22, with the theme: “Accelerating Healthcare’s Digital Transformation in the Post-COVID Era” . The conference was organized by Health Daily, netweek and Boussias for the 5th consecutive year, with the cooperation of HL7, IDIKA, ESPY and ITE, while it was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health .
The government was represented by Marios Themistokleous , Secretary General of Primary Health Care, Theodoros Skylakakis, Deputy Minister of Finance, Zoi Rapti, Deputy Minister of Health, responsible for Mental Health , Athanasios Kyriazis, Secretary General of Research and Innovation, Ministry of Development and Investments, Charalambos Vassiliou, Digital Reform Advisor, Ministry of Digital Governance , Irini Agapidaki, General Secretary of Public Health and Mina Boubaki,Department of Electronic Health Services, Directorate of Electronic Government, Ministry of Health, who discussed our country’s ongoing effort for digital transformation and strengthening the accessibility, efficiency and quality of the health system.
