Did you know that VBHC is being recognised as one of the most important topics in healthcare transformation, and one of the most frequently quoted principles of health policy today?

Based on the impactful research of Professor Michael Porter, value-based health care (VBHC) is defined as a “framework for restructuring health care systems around the globe with the overarching goal of value for patients.”

With this in mind…Are you interested in VBHC? Do you want to learn about important work being done in the field which could greatly impact the future of health in the EU and beyond? Well…you won’t want to miss out on this upcoming event!

Promoted by ECHAlliance, join us on April 17th where we will discuss the adoption and transferability of the Horizon 2020 Project ValueCare results in a global context & lead a meaningful, roundtable discussion on value-based healthcare alongside project guest speakers @OscarMayora & @OscarZanutto.

In this session we aim to,

  • Share a background and exclusive updates on the Project ValueCare achievements
  • Promote a meaningful discussion on value-based healthcare and ValueCare capacity to meet users needs in real-life scenarios while embracing an open approach to external inputs & feedbacks
  • Open innovation, open science, open to the world: reflection on the ValueCare guiding principles to shape models of innovative value creation
  • Connect the project with our global network of ecosystems and members, reaching out to different global stakeholders to build awareness of the ValueCare project outcomes, and to build interest in the uptake of this project’s results

Project ValueCare is an EU funded project which aims to deliver personalised integrated (health and social) care services, better outcomes for older people and improved care experience. It also aims to improve staff satisfaction and greater efficiency in the use of resources and coordination of care. It will do this in a setting that ensures trust of users and policy makers with regard to data access, protection and sharing and which can be replicated and deployed at large scale in other EU countries.
