A group of 9 experts, coordinated by HealthDay.si wrote these guidelines on how the whole system could get a gradual overhaul to become more focused on giving more health and care to Slovenians for the available budget.

Slovenian health care system is under a considerable amount of strain. Physicians and nurses are often on strike, hospitals are reporting massive losses, access to care has seriously diminished, patients are being left waiting, innovation has stalled.

A group of 9 experts, coordinated by HealthDay.si wrote these guidelines on how the whole system could get a gradual overhaul to become more focused on giving more health and care to Slovenians for the available budget. The book is the first step, HealthDay.si also aims to lead the implementation as the second step.
