We are delighted to announce that TriMedika has been awarded the WEConnect International WBE Certification. WEConnect International is a global non-profit that helps connect national and multinational organizations with women-owned businesses as part of their supplier diversity programmes, creating networking opportunities and establishing forums for debate and learning opportunities.
The WBE certification recognizes businesses that are owned and managed by women and aims to highlight the key role that female entrepreneurs play in the global economy. TriMedika was founded in 2016 by Dr. Roisin Molloy, Julie Brien, and Paul Molloy. TriMedika continue to champion female entrepreneurship, females in STEM and diversity as core values.
Dr. Roisin Molloy, CEO and Co-Founder, said:
“There has been a lot of progress made for women in the workplace, and I myself have seen significant, positive changes over the course of my career, but there is still so much to do. I look forward to getting to work and using this platform as a certified women owned business to promote, support and advocate for equality in the entrepreneurial and Women in STEM landscape.”
This is an important moment for TriMedika as a business. It is also especially important for all of TriMedika’s female employees and any aspiring women who would like to get involved in an innovative, med-tech company!
For companies committed to Diversity and Inclusion, partnering with us guarantees you greater supplier diversity.
When asked what her top tip would be for all of the aspiring women innovators out there, Dr. Roisin Molloy, CEO and Co-Founder said:
“Never give up and also don’t listen to naysayers – prove them wrong and if it’s not a hell yea then it’s a hell no! This has helped in many decisions.”
This certification comes around the same time TriMedika announce that they are winners of Women in Innovation 2022, receiving a £50,000 grant. TriMedika work hard to promote equality in the workplace and are delighted that these two announcements have come just in time for #InternationalWomensDay2022.
