This paper describes the various components and evolution of a community-delivered, peer-support service, including lessons learned, over a 5 year timeframe, for individuals with lived experience of anxiety and depression.
Given the clear increasing demand for support for anxiety and depression coupled with shortages in the mental health workforce, this paper demonstrates the critical role that such services can contribute to addressing this need.
