PSD Nepal operates in various regions of Nepal, with a particular focus on remote and underserved communities. Their work extends to both rural and urban areas, ensuring that our sustainable development projects have a far-reaching and long-lasting impact. By collaborating with local organizations, government agencies, and international partners, PSD Nepal strives to create a cohesive and comprehensive approach to development that addresses the diverse needs of the Nepalese population. Their initiatives encompass a wide range of domains, including healthcare access, research, education, environmental conservation, and community empowerment. Through their unwavering commitment and the support of our local to global partners, PSD plays a vital role in sustainable and inclusive development in Nepal.

PSD Nepal places a strong emphasis on a range of critical health-related areas to improve the well- being of the Nepalese population. These areas include maternal and child health, where we diligently work to enhance access to quality healthcare services, promote safe birthing practices, and reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. They also target prevalent infectious diseases, such as dengue, tuberculosis and malaria, through awareness campaigns and treatment programs. Recently, PSD Nepal has made a substantial impact in advancing the development of safe and effective vaccines by actively engaging with the local community to ensure smooth recruitment, participation, and retention of healthy volunteers for global Phase III COVID-19 vaccine trails in Nepal.

Additionally, PSD Nepal manages general healthcare access by working to improve the availability of medical facilities and essential healthcare services in underserved regions, ensuring that remote communities with unmet needs can receive the care they require. Furthermore, PSD Nepal actively promote public health awareness and education, with a focus on hygiene, sanitation, and nutrition. Through these initiatives, the organization seeks to reduce the prevalence of preventable diseases and enhances overall health standards for all. By concentrating on these key areas of health, PSD Nepal is making substantial tangible contributions to improving the overall health and well-being of Nepal’s communities, particularly in vulnerable and marginalized regions.

PSD Nepal is eager to collaborate with the ECHAlliance community, recognizing the tremendous potential for mutual growth and positive impact in the healthcare sector for Nepal and beyond. Firstly, the organization seeks technical support to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our healthcare initiatives. Given the rapidly evolving healthcare landscapes, PSD Nepal aims to leverage the expertise and knowledge within the ECHAlliance community to stay current with the latest advancements in healthcare technology and digital healthcare solutions. Whether it’s assistance with implementing telemedicine platforms, improving data management systems, or adopting innovative healthcare technologies, we firmly believe that technical support from this esteemed alliance members can significantly bolster the success and sustainability of PSD Nepal’s programs. Secondly, financial resources are essential for PSD to expand and sustain our critical healthcare projects. Financial support from the ECHAlliance community would enable the institution to scale our efforts, reach more underserved communities, and develop new healthcare initiatives. These funds can be instrumental in procuring medical equipment, training healthcare professionals, and providing essential medical supplies. By securing financial resources through collaboration with ECHAlliance members, PSD Nepal can a tangible and lasting impact on healthcare accessibility and outcome in Nepal. Lastly, PSD seeks networking opportunities with potential collaborators, donors, and stakeholders who share a common vision of improving healthcare. Through these connections, PSD Nepal can tap into a wealth of collective knowledge and experience, strengthening collaborations that lead to innovative solutions and expanded outreach. By joining forces with the ECHAlliance community, PSD Nepal hopes to create a collaborative ecosystem that propels healthcare advancement in Nepal and other regions.
