Why did you join the ECHAlliance Network of Ecosystems?
Cooperation with other regions and ecosystems is very important for us. We are keen to share good practices to develop the wellbeing ecosystems at international, regional and local level. With members of various ecosystems around Europe and globally, we are much stronger to apply funding for innovative projects in digital health and wellbeing.
Who is missing from your ecosystem in terms of stakeholders?
In South Ostrobothnia, we have a limited number of enterprises specializing in eHealth. Therefore, we are keen to improve the ecosystem in the region to attract more enterprises to collaborate with us and possibly to set up their businesses in the region.
Which ecosystems are you looking to collaborate with?
Since we are really just starting to formulate and develop the ecosystem under the Interreg Europe funded project ‘Intencive – Innovation and Technology ENhancing Customer Oriented Health SerVicEs – Development of Policies and Ecosystem supporting Wellbeing Technology in Healthcare’ in South Ostrobothnia, we are keen to benchmark other regional ecosystems, their processes, success factors and impacts not only in Finland but also in Europe.
