Open session on Women’s Health

In partnership with the Society for Women’s Health Research, ECHAlliance will host a session titled “Women’s Unique Health Needs and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a call to action” on the morning of 24th September.

This session will address the often underrepresented contributions and challenges women face in the healthcare system, focusing on:

  • Key opportunities to advance women’s health through research
  • Female underrepresentation in clinical trials
  • The role of women in healthcare decision-making
  • Barriers to accessing care and improving health outcomes for women globally

The insights gained will be compiled into an Outcomes Report
to be presented to the United Nations, that will inform the development of a comprehensive women’s health research agenda.
