April 15 marked a significant milestone for the Cluster Saúde de Galicia (CSG) and its team. We are pleased to announce an important change in our management, a step that reflects the continuous growth and evolution of our organization.

CSG was born as a visionary project in the region thanks to the drive and vision of its founders and collaborators. Since its inception, CSG has become a key reference point for promoting innovation and development in the health sector in Galicia and beyond.

After more than ten years of effort and collaboration, we can proudly say that we have advanced in our mission to build synergies that optimize competitiveness and improve people’s lives. We always strive to make Galicia the best place to age healthily. We have witnessed how our projects, partners, and collaborators have made a tangible difference in the quality of life of people and the environment around us.

However, we understand the importance of looking to the future and facing new challenges with determination and renewed leadership. In this spirit of continuous evolution, we welcome Iván Rarís Filgueira as the new manager of CSG, taking over from Gisela García-Álvarez, who has led us during these years.

About Iván Rarís

In recent years, Iván has been the area director at AFAGA Alzheimer, an organization dedicated to innovation in comprehensive care for people with Alzheimer’s, while also working as a lawyer specializing in the socio-health field. Iván has also held various direct roles in the governing bodies of sector organizations, such as CSG, and university initiatives. He has also been a speaker at various national and international health sector events.

This transition marks a new chapter in the history of CSG, but it does not signify a break; rather, it represents a renewed and strengthened continuity of our commitments. We wish Gisela García-Álvarez the best of success and are confident that our paths will cross again.

In this way, the Cluster Saúde de Galicia reaffirms its commitment to promoting excellence in the health sector. We thank our #ComunidadCSG in advance for their continued support on this journey. Together, we are committed to continuing to drive innovation, growth, and collaboration for the benefit of the health and well-being of our community.

We continue advancing together towards a future of sustainable health and well-being for all!
