Learn more about the newest member to join our global community: European Association of Urology, an organisation focused on urological practice, research and education.
The EAU represents the leading authority within Europe on urological practice, research, and education. Over 19,000 medical professionals have joined its ranks and contributed to our mission: to raise the level of urological care throughout Europe and beyond. The EAU accomplishes this by acting as the representative body for European urologists, facilitating urological research (and broadcasting its results), promoting contributions to medical and scientific literature by members, establishing European standards of training and urological care, contributing to the determination of European urological health care policies and disseminating high-quality urological information to patients and the public.
The EAU Is the representative body for European urologists and we facilitate the continued development of urology and all its sub- specialties. We develop clinical practice guidelines, training (CPE), host scientific congresses and run our own scientific journals. Our Patient Office works with patient representatives and patient organisations to ensure they are involved in all areas of activity. The Policy Office works with policy makers at EU and national level to enact positive change within the broader health system to bring about lasting change for our patients.
