On 21st March 2019 from 9am to 5pm in Lisbon (PT Meeting Center – Room: tbc) ECHAlliance is co-organising the workshop “Digital Health Europe – Collaboration platform on Citizens’ secure access to and sharing of health data” with the other partners of the DigitalHealthEurope project during the Portugal eHealth Summit.
The workshop explores:
- The concept of citizens’ access to health data;
- Digital health literacy and patient empowerment;
- Citizen-controlled data governance;
- GDPR and legal implications of health data sharing;
- Secondary use of data and data donation.
Partners from the DigitalHealthEurope project will be attending and the workshop is a great opportunity to explore the enablers, challenges, incentives, motivation, organizational, legal, technical and interoperability issues to bringing about the digital transformation of health and care.

About The Portugal eHealth Summit
The event takes place during the 3rd edition of the Portugal eHealth Summi on 19-22 March 2019 and has over 13,000 participants attending, with representatives from over 80 companies, 45 startups and more than 200 national and international speakers.
