Constructing Healthcare Environments through Responsible Research and Innovation Entrepreneurship Strategies.
CHERRIES seeks innovative solutions to reach elderly people that are in need for social contacts, but often are hard to reach. The solution / solutions that are granted funding will be conducted as a pilot project for a maximum of 8 months (February-October 2022), with the potential to continue to be conducted after the project period is over and the potential to be scaled up and disseminated.
Co-creation of a solution together with the target group or other stakeholders around the target group (e.g. health care, social services or civil society organisations) should be an important part of the project.
The applied project funds can be used to test new solutions to counteract involuntary loneliness and meet the elderly’s need for social contacts. This can involve social, organizational or technical solutions or a combination of these.
