The production of innovative prostheses in Ukraine is the way that Ukraine needs the most. One of the participants of the Resource Center is the «Cluster of manufacturers of medical products». The most relevant topic today in the cluster is the production of innovative prostheses in Ukraine, the formation of conditions for the implementation of the investment project “Technopark of the latest technologies”, including the production module “Industrial park of 3D products”. This is exactly what Ukrainian legislation promotes with tax benefits for investors in such projects.

On April 21, an international conference of orthopedics and traumatology was held in the city of Kyiv. More than 500 participants took part in it.

The cluster “Cluster of manufacturers of medical products” also presented Ukrainian manufacturers. As part of the cluster, almost all participants took part in the conference:

  • Manufacturers of endoprostheses and other products of orthopedics and traumatology, bioceramics, surgical instruments, representatives of cover manufacturers;
  • A representative of German partners, widely presented the program of preoperative planning, which aroused the greatest interest and interest of doctors;
  • Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, who are working on improving materials for endoprosthesis;

Young talents of the Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences with innovative developments in the field of endoprosthetics and other areas of medicine were presented at the stand of the general public of doctors;

  • Representatives of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, who are actively involved in preclinical and clinical trials of endoprostheses and other products for orthopedics and traumatology, which are now produced using innovative production methods. Namely, with the help of additive technologies: 3D printing of titanium powder, the use of bioceramics and the nitriding process of the metal surface;

doctors – practitioners who expressed their suggestions regarding the improvement of both the forms of endoprostheses and their materials. Medical consulting and its internationalization within the cluster community.

There was direct contact between doctors and manufacturers, which made it possible to communicate market requests from practitioners to manufacturers and scientists.

May 5 – presentation of the preoperative planning program for practicing doctors at the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

May 18 – An intercluster event on digitization and education regarding the implementation of the preoperative planning program in Ukrainian clinics will be held online.

May 20 – as part of the work with scientific youth on the Day of Science, a round table with the participation of the cluster and young scientists with the aim of developing an algorithm for support and further implementation of their innovative developments in Ukrainian production.

The most relevant topic today in the cluster is the formation of conditions for the implementation of the investment project “Technopark of the latest technologies”, including the production module “Industrial park of 3D products”.

This is exactly what Ukrainian legislation promotes with tax benefits for investors in such projects.
