The HBP Calls for Expression of Interest (CEoIs) are for new projects to directly contribute to the development of the research infrastructure (EBRAINS) and increase the scope of its application in terms of innovation, neuroscience and clinical research.

The goal of this Call for Expression of Interest (CEoI) is to support COVID-19 research, in particular in the field of COVID-19-related brain-disorders and mental health issues, by building on the strengths of EBRAINS. The successful applicant(s) will contribute, in close collaboration with HBP Partners, to the HBP project mission, complement expertise already present in the HBP, and use a portfolio of tools and services provided by EBRAINS to conduct the proposed work.

Budget: EUR 450,000 Direct Costs. Maximum funding per proposal: EUR 225,000 (plus 25% Indirect Costs). Two proposals will be selected.

For more information, please read the Call documents.

A pre-final version of the proposal should be uploaded at least 3 days before the deadline (by 27 April 2021), to avoid being unable to submit due to eventual technical difficulties during a last-minute submission.

The proposal submission deadline is 30 April 2021 at 17:00 (Brussels time, this corresponds to 16:00 UTC).

It is recommended to use Firefox to upload the proposal. For any questions on the submission procedure, please contact us at info@opencalls.humanbrainproject.eu.
