In connection with WHINN2020, the South DENMARK eHealth ECOsystem is hosting an open ecosystem workshop about current and expected international funding opportunities.

Participants: Hospitals, municipalities, companies, research institutions in South Denmark with an interest in applying for international funding for their project ideas.

On the day, participants across the health innovation ecosystem in South Denmark can hear more about the current and expected future EU funding opportunities, within programmes such as Horizon Europe, Green Deal, Digital Health Europe etc. The event is split into two separate thematic workshops.
Workshop 1: Preventative healthcare activities and environmental factors and climate neutrality
Henriette Hansen from the South Denmark European Office will present the current and expected funding opportunities within the theme. Participants can also hear more about the future perspectives and regional focus within the theme.
Workshop 2: Exploit the full potential of new tools, technologies and digital solutions within health
Allan Nordby Ottesen from the South Denmark European Office will present the current and expected funding opportunities within the theme. Participants can also hear more about previous experiences in South Denmark with applying for EU funding.
Caroline Strudwick from the Health Innovation Centre of Southern Denmark will discuss future needs in the regional hospitals in connection with new technologies and tools.
Karen Lindegaard from Welfare Tech will discuss the development of competitive technologies through public-private collaboration.
At the end of each workshop, the participants will have a chance to ask questions to the panels and get feedback on their project ideas.
The purpose of hosting the workshops is to enable partners across the South Denmark ecosystem to gain insights into the opportunities, to prepare early and to get assistance for the further process and matchmaking with potential project partners.
