Rethinking Remote 2022 will be our third conference focusing on innovative solutions in remote and rural health and wellbeing. It will take place in Aviemore, Scotland on the 28th & 29th April 2022.
Each year the conference has grown and developed. What makes the conference special is the cross sector sharing of information, ideas, research, and solutions from experts both locally and from across the globe. It provides a showcase for the sharing of practical initiatives that are already making a difference to the health and wellbeing of remote and rural communities. A call to submit abstracts for poster/oral presentation will go out in November 2021. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a new conference theme around disaster planning and pandemics has been introduced.
Due to overwhelming desire to have a face to-face meeting we will be hosting the RR2022 conference in the Macdonald Aviemore Resort to ensure that the auditorium, accommodation, exhibition area, posters and workshops are all within one purpose built complex. By combining the delegate rate, dinner, and accommodation into one conference package we have also managed to reduce the cost to delegates from previous years.
This event is open to all organisations or individuals (healthcare, emergency services, military, academia, industry, and voluntary sector organisations) interested in remote and rural health and wellbeing.
The call for abstracts is now open!
