Digital Health and Wellbeing insights from the COVID-19 response – informing plans for renewal.
The ECHAlliance Digital Health and Wellbeing Thematic Innovation Ecosystem is a forum for the sharing of good practices, exchanging ideas and gaining new knowledge.
The first European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance) Thematic Innovation Ecosystem on Digital Health and Wellbeing in May 20201, featured timely examples from Scotland and from Slovenia about how digital health solutions accelerated during the COVID-19 response.
The response to COVID-19 has required health and care systems to adapt services rapidly and to provide services in innovative ways. More widely, we know that health and care providers, supported by their governments, expanded existing digital solutions during this time and developed digitally enabled solutions to continue to provide access to health and care services. The discussion in this session on 29 September 2021 will continue the discussion and ask:
Whether there are examples of digitally enabled solutions – scaled up during the COVID-19 response, now being included in the strategies, action plans or policies for health and care renewal?
The outcomes of this webinar will help to gain the knowledge from other regions and countries of their experience responding to COVID-19 and accelerate the learning and potential adoption of this knowledge at local and regional level.
