On February 9th Lithuanian Biotechnology Association together with partner associations from Estonia (“ScanBalt”) and Sweden (“Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare”) organizes a seminar-discussion on the topic of prevention and disposal of pharmaceutical residues.
The event will introduce the current situation, the changes planned by the European Commission, and examples of good practice. Representatives of “Medicines for Europe”, “AstraZeneca” and other organizations will share insights and experience.
The target groups of the event are pharmaceutical industry companies, health care institutions, representatives of the water management and environmental protection sector, as well as policy-making and implementing institutions in these areas.
The event is organized in Vilnius with the possibility of remote participation. All presentations and discussions will be held in English.
