AICR’s Vice President of Research, Dr. Nigel Brockton, has been invited to speak on the Presidential Session called “Pragmatism versus perfection: When is research evidence good enough to give advice?” about WCRF/AICR’s Global Continuous Update Program at the annual Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) conference, alongside AICR’s Vice President, Melissa Habedank, MPH, who will chair the Session.

At the same conference, Dr. Brockton will present AICR’s evidence on a Symposium Presentation called “Physical Activity Spillover Effects Among Cancer Populations,” alongside Ms. Habedank, who will facilitate the discussion portion of this panel presentation.

Dr. Brockton and Ms. Habedank will also present at the conference’s “Meet the Funders” event to share information about AICR’s research grant programs.

SBM is an American nonprofit organization that is dedicated to promoting research in the field of behavioral medicine. Its annual conference – the largest yearly behavioral medicine gathering in the world – will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States from March 13-16, 2024.
