What are the main objectives of your ecosystems?
Western Hungary has highly skilled and competitive manufacturing labour force, extensive network of universities and strong presence of foreign capital. As these investments were dominated by the automotive industry, it resulted in vulnerability and dependance. The region is dedicated to achieve diversification, built on existing hospitals, rehabilitation centers, manufacturing culture and willingness to accommodate relevant research capacity.
Additional scope is in the elderly care. The focus is on self-monitoring, digital solutions, demo facility and test environment.
Why did you join the ECHAlliance Network of Ecosystems?
We are very motivated to learn from others, get connected with healthcare manufacturers, social care providers and research organizations. ECHAlliance is a global network to provide connectivity with high prestige partners.
Who is missing from your ecosystem in terms of stakeholders?
We are looking for the improvement of our research competency and educational capacities.
Which ecosystems are you looking to collaborate with?
We are open for knowhow transfer from broad range of partners.
