The Digital Health & Wellness Summit 2020 (DHWS) will be back in Barcelona as part of 4YFN for the seventh year.
DHWS was developed by the European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance) to bring health and care expertise to digital health startups, SMEs, technology and telecommunications businesses. It discusses important issues of the day and show cases challenges and innovative solutions from across Europe and beyond.
It creates opportunities to connect buyers and sellers, innovators to investors and to meet potential partners and collaborators. It gives innovators the chance to hear about end-user needs and challenges.
DHWS 2020 provides the connections between solution suppliers and their customers (policy makers, hospitals, insurers, pharmaceuticals, Medtech, technology and telecommunication companies). It provides a unique place for these industries to connect to improve healthcare delivery.
As part of a dedicated digital health space in 4YFN it is the main place for Digital Health startup to meet investors , for those startups to meet potential customers and for insurers Medtech and Pharma to find new solutions.

The Adoption Awards recognise the work of adopters, and their technological suppliers, in implementing digital innovation for the benefit of patients in Active and Healthy Ageing.
Three finalist teams will present their successful adoption case and respond to the questions of an experienced jury. Teams are made up of European adopters (typically healthcare or social organisations) and IT companies (who are solutions providers). The cases will be presented in terms of innovativeness, impact on the delivery of health and care services, effectiveness (how mature and successful the project is) and scalability.
