We have over 350 members that are at forefront of advancing healthcare knowledge and innovation. Examples include the University of Edinburgh, a world-leading institution globally recognized for its teaching, research, and innovation, and Kingston University London, a modern, diverse, and supportive university spread across four campuses.
- Networks & Associations:
We have a community of over 250 networks and organisations that play a crucial role in connecting professionals and fostering collaboration within the healthcare ecosystem. One prominent example is the American Heart Association, a nationwide voluntary health organisation comprising more than 35 million volunteers and supporters dedicated to improving heart health and reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
- Health & Social Care Providers:
Our members in this category are essential in delivering health and social care services in both public and private healthcare and includes 120 hospitals. For instance, FundeSalud, a public foundation under the Regional Ministry of Health and Social Services of the Government of Extremadura, manages research and education programs within the Regional Healthcare (SES) and Dependency/Sociosanitary System (SEPAD).
- Government Agencies:
These members are instrumental in shaping policies and initiatives that improve healthcare systems. AQuAS, the Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia, is a key example. As part of the Catalan Ministry of Health, AQuAS assesses data and generates reliable information for decision-making processes, promoting health and enhancing the sustainability of the Catalan health system as well as running our ecosystem in Catalonia.
- Patient Groups:
We have nearly 100 Patient groups that are vital in advocating for the needs of patients and their caregivers. An example is The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, the leading dementia-specific service provider in Ireland, working at the heart of local communities to provide services and advocate for the rights and needs of people living with dementia and their carers.
- Industry:
Industry members contribute with their expertise in management consulting and technological solutions. Examples include McKinsey & Co, a global management consulting firm, and IQVIA, a leading provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.
- Clusters:
These members foster innovation by facilitating collaborations among various stakeholders in healthcare. For instance, Medvia, a Flanders-based healthtech cluster, supports and drives healthcare innovations by bringing together companies, research centres, universities, and healthcare institutions who also run our Flemish Ecosystem in Belgium.
