We are very excited to welcome our second ecosystem from Denmark: Health Tech Hub Copenhagen Ecosystem. Read this interview with Oded Yair Menuhin, Global Relationship Lead at Health Tech Hub Copenhagen.
Who are the key stakeholders?
We are supported by the Danish Industry Foundation, and partner with key stakeholders across the entire health ecosystem: outstanding health tech startups & scaleups; leading hospitals in Denmark (Rigshospitalet, Aalborg University Hospital, Odense University Hospital) and internationally (Texas Medical Center); global pharmaceutical corporates (Roche, Novo Nordisk) and health insurance companies (Tryg, Pension Denmark); and more.
What are the main objectives of your ecosystem?
Our big ambition is to improve health and reduce health related costs for 1 billion people worldwide. Our primary objective is to scale digital health solutions to make healthcare more sustainable, catalyzing a transformative shift in healthcare accessibility and quality by fostering widespread adoption, nurturing innovative technologies, and cultivating collaborative partnerships globally.
We work with startups, industry, and governments to make adoption of digital health solutions possible – at scale.
Why did you join the ECHAlliance Network of Ecosystems?
Health Tech Hub Copenhagen is eager to explore synergies with like-minded ecosystems. We function as both a launchpad facilitating the scaling of digital health solutions originating from Denmark, and a landing pad supporting international startups scaling into Denmark. We seek to connect with like-minded hospitals, clinics, health insurance providers, and ecosystems that share the vision of utilizing digital health to enhance the accessibility and sustainability of healthcare. As well as connect with any international health tech startups exploring the Danish market.
Who is missing from your ecosystem in terms of stakeholders?
We are actively seeking collaboration with additional healthcare professionals (HCP) and pharmaceutical & insurance companies to strengthen our efforts in scaling transformative digital health solutions. Our strategy involves engaging in startup matchmaking, organizing delegations, and facilitating knowledge-sharing across the ecosystem. By fostering partnerships through these initiatives, we aim to expedite the widespread adoption of digital health solutions, ushering in a new era of innovation and efficiency in healthcare delivery.
Which ecosystems are you looking to collaborate with?
We are highly interested in forging collaborations with ecosystems, particularly those based in the UK, France, Spain, US and Germany. Our focus on these regions is driven by a recognition of their dynamic healthcare landscapes and innovative environments. However, we remain open to exploring and capitalizing on any interesting opportunities that align with our mission and goals. By fostering partnerships across borders, we aim to create a robust network that transcends geographical boundaries, facilitating the exchange of ideas, expertise, and resources in the pursuit of advancing transformative digital health solutions globally.
