The genesis of African Global Health -AGH- emerges from a collective vision, crafted by a consortium of brilliant minds primarily hailing from African nations, complemented by expertise from various corners of the globe: Morocco, Senegal, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Egypt, Zambia, South America, Asia, Canada, the USA, and beyond.

Born from the desire to harness expertise transcending borders, AGH stands as a beacon of collaboration, uniting scientific luminaries, economists, legal minds, and health policy architects. The core ethos is continental solidarity, reimagining public health policies on a scale that extends far beyond national boundaries.

At its heart, African Global Health champions health promotion objectives across Africa, advocating not just for medical care but for holistic and responsible health dimensions. The ultimate aspiration is audacious yet profound: health for all, by all.

The Covid-19 pandemic has served as a catalyst, reshaping AGH’s priorities. Amidst this global crisis, the focus has sharpened, directing unwavering support toward Africa, particularly under the auspices of sovereign Morocco and the visionary policies set forth by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him in his endeavors.

In this convergence of expertise and dedication, AGH finds its genesis a commitment to transcend challenges, foster innovation, and forge a healthier future for the diverse tapestry of Africa and beyond.

AGH champions the concept of health sovereignty, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and collective action to safeguard against economic, social, and political crises that can affect health outcomes.

The NGO is steadfast in fostering unity among African and South-South nations, recognizing that collaborative efforts are essential to tackle health challenges comprehensively. AGH actively seeks partnerships and collaborations, aiming to create intercontinental connections and establish south-south bridges within Africa to foster a united front in tackling health issues.

African Global Health is committed to addressing health determinants beyond the medical sphere, acknowledging the impact of cultural and educational factors on overall well-being. While rooted in Moroccan initiation, AGH’s commitment embodies an African soul, with a federating lead aimed at providing expertise and policy support to unify the continent in health-related endeavors.
