The International Foundation for Integrated Care is looking for an experienced Chief Executive Officer to join our IFIC Executive. As a CEO, they will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Foundation in accordance to the Foundation’s goals and policies. The CEO of IFIC Executive has a crucial role in the success of the Foundation. they should be a motivator and a great leader, capable of seeing the big picture and thinking out of the box.
Changes in public expectations, the aging of the world’s population, new technologies, financial pressures and evolving professional roles mean that long-standing, fragmented approaches to care cannot be sustained. Health and care system leaders around the world are actively pursuing new, more integrated, seamless and efficient approaches to meeting people’s needs.
IFIC is playing a lead role in a global movement for change – shaping the policy agenda for integrated care, developing evidence-based approaches and supporting policymakers, care providers and care recipients in their implementation.
This is an exciting time for IFIC which has responded well to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and continues to mature as an organisation in terms of governance and strategy. It will be essential for the new CEO to work with the Board to develop and implement strategic and business plans, build partnerships and be an advocate. Much work will be outward-facing in order to raise the profile of the Foundation whilst providing operational management through three Directors.
You will be a resilient and entrepreneurial senior leader who can steer IFIC through this period of change and use its exceptional brand and global network to ensure that it continues at the forefront of this international movement. You will have prior experience of working with a Board, ideally have experience of managing geographically dispersed teams and be able to demonstrate a track record in having worked with an organisation to generate increased revenues.
Ideally, you will bring expert knowledge of integrated care, but as a minimum you will require a good understanding of health and or care at a strategic level.
Salary: Negotiable and dependent on experience
