Elemental is proud to announce that we have recently achieved ISO 27001 certification

Elemental has achieved ISO 27001 certification, the international standard that lays out the specifications for implementing an information security management system (ISMS). 

The certification has been granted following an audit from the Centre for Assessment to confirm that the requirements for registration were met for “the design, integration, maintenance and hosting of managed information systems, software applications, consultancy, user training and support for the Health and Social Care and authorities”. 

The certification is a demonstration of Elemental’s investment in the technology, people and processes that protect the organisation’s data. The independent assessment highlights the sufficiency of the measures that are in place to provide data protection to our customers.

Continuous improvement and raising standards for social prescribing technology

• Elemental Software is the only social prescribing technology provider on the NHS GP IT Futures framework. The framework enables GPs, practice staff, suppliers and buyers in Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and Commissioning Support Unit (CSUs) to procure digital solutions that have met the requirements and are now approved by NHS Digital.  
• Elemental Software is on the Health Systems Support Framework (HSSF) for social prescribing. HSSF provides a quick and easy route to access support services from innovative third-party suppliers at the leading edge of health and care system reform. HSSF can be used by any NHS organisation, including NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), national Arm’s-Length Bodies, and local authorities.
