The Better Evidence program at Ariadne Labs aims to support the current and future health workforce to integrate the latest evidence into their decision making to improve health outcomes. The program currently has over 160,000 clinicians in 185 countries in the network and has distributed more than 230,000 digital subscriptions for evidence-based clinical tools. Better Evidence is preparing the next generation to integrate digital tools into decision making through partnerships with 65 African medical schools, serving 100,000+ students and faculty. The program distributes more than $40M of in-kind donations annually, trains new users in digital tools, and conducts research on tool uptake and clinician behaviors. Better Evidence’s robust global network of clinicians is the world’s most diverse and qualified source of first-hand clinical expertise and is ready to use, test, and advise on health products and digital tools.
They focus on evidence-generation and dissemination in support of the health care workforce. They serve clinicians and support entrepreneurs and corporations in reaching those clinicians. They are a not-for-profit organization at Ariadne Labs, a joint center for health system innovation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health in Boston, USA.
They would like the community to know about the resources they provide at Better Evidence and to help them spread the word and promote the use of evidence-based practice to grow their network of 160,000+ clinicians in 180+ countries. They are involved with many projects and programs designed to improve the delivery of care and support the workforce and are always happy to learn what others are doing and to partner for impact.
