The DHEW Summer Event was held on July 18th 2018, with 120 people gathering to hear about future funding opportunities. We had presentations from Innovate UK about the current competition for disruptive technologies and the future competitions on Healthy Ageing and Mental Health, WEFO and the ECH Alliance on the upcoming Horizon 202 Calls, an update on the ACCELERATE programme from the Life Sciences Hub and a presentation from the GovTech Catalyst team on the upcoming funding round and Monmouthshire Council on their GovTech Catalyst project tackling rural isolation.
The afternoon offered in depth presentations on how to succeed with Innovate UK and Horizon2020 bids, as well as information on the support available from WEFO and a workshop exploring the challenges and opportunities available through ACCELERATE.
