The NOTRE project (Novel Methods Improving Production Innovation Potential with Examples of Senior Care- Related Solutions) recently held a significant two-days meetings and study visits in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at the Partner Agentia de Dezvoltare regionala Nord-Vest, from November 12 to 13. Hosted at the HUB of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, this event brought together partners to review current activities, participate in transnational training, and conduct site visits showcasing local innovations.

The first day featured an overview of the North-West Region’s strategic ecosystem from the North-West Regional Development Agency. Partners also discussed progress and upcoming tasks, exchanged regional feedback and engaged in a training session on overcoming cultural and regulatory challenges, led by ECHAlliance. The day concluded with a guided sightseeing tour and dinner altogether to exchange further on each country’s cultural context.

On the second day, participants visited the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca’s Robotics department and the Clinical Recovery Hospital, highlighting innovative healthcare approaches. Afternoon sessions included further training and stakeholder presentations from the startups Medicad, Neurorevive, and Synaptiq. The meeting concluded with discussions on next steps of the project: several staff exchanges will be organized during next semester to go further on one Partner’s ecosystem understanding, as well as the next general meeting of all Partners in Lille, France in June 2025.

Following the meeting in Cluj, the staff exchange program has officially commenced. This initiative marks an important step in fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among our partners, further strengthening the connections established during the Cluj meeting. The exchanges will  build on the ideas discussed and enhance the impact of our collective efforts.
