Scientists and entrepreneurs collaborate on WhatsApp and Twitter to devise a ventilation against the coronavirus
Covid-19

The Spanish innovative ecosystem has reacted spontaneously to the coronavirus crisis , and without the mandate of any administration, nor of a large laboratory, has mobilized to design cheap solutions to the main threat looming over the health system: care to patients who require ventilation and who are at risk of not being able to receive it in time if there is a collapse in health centers.

The CEO of the Cotec Foundation , Jorge Barrero, announced on Twitter that “ 25 doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, makers have created a WhatsApp group to think about possible cheap and quick solutions for patient ventilation. Now I discover we are not alone … we join the Open Source Ventilator Project!
