This Pre-commercial Procurement (PCP)/ Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition, which will fund Phase 1 feasibility studys with R&D contracts in the region of 80,000 GBP, inclusive of VAT. Deadline May 5th.

This is a Pre-Commercial Procurement Challenge competition funded by The Scottish Health Industry Partnership (SHIP) for diabetes prevention, early detection and monitoring. The competition seeks to develop innovative solutions that address person-centred care, improve care pathway and optimise service delivery in HbA1c testing. The aim of the competition is to develop disruptive innovative solutions that deliver sustainable, accessible and equitable remote HbA1c self-testing. This will include the development, distribution and return of self-collection blood sample kits with instructions on self-phlebotomy for patients and integration of the results within the current NHS infrastructure.
