Ecosystems

On 30th January 2020, Innovate UK and the Knowledge Transfer Network, in collaboration with the emerging network of Precision Medicine Centres of Excellence, will deliver an event in London showcasing existing capability and assets that reside in the UK. Most importantly, this event will also open up the conversation to ensure other groups working in Precision Medicine in the UK will join the network, which aims to become a platform where excellence can shine.

The UK has a strong clinical and academic foundation in the area of Precision Medicine. Innovate UK and KTN have been working in the past years with six Precision Medicine Centres of Excellence to clarify capabilities and understand challenges, with the aim of creating the best approach to make the UK strength in precision medicine visible and accessible to academics and businesses. The centres which will be running sessions at the event include:

  • Belfast
  • Cardiff
  • Glasgow
  • Leeds
  • Manchester
  • Oxford

In keeping with our aims to enhance Precision Medicine activities in the UK, this event will help commercial organisations to engage with the six centres mentioned above as well as others that deliver excellence in Precision Medicine and understand the wider UK capabilities in this area. We want to broaden the network and involve more Precision Medicine Centre hubs around the UK in this event.

There will be a large exhibition area where you’ll be able to meet a wide range of other organisations and individuals working in the Precision Medicine area that have the capacity to help companies successfully develop and commercialise their innovations.

If you’d like to exhibit at the event please get in touch with KTN’s Knowledge Transfer Manager for Precision Medicine, Giulia Boselli.
