Patients lead the conversation: PiCC Lounge podcast brings voices to the front

PiCC Lounge is a new podcast launched by the patient community PiCC United, giving patients a platform to share their experiences and insights into the healthcare system. The podcast unfolds through conversations with patients, professionals and carers, giving listeners authentic perspectives on why patient engagement is necessary and meaningful. It will launch in summer 2025 and is now seeking sponsors and supporters to make production possible. PiCC Lounge makes it easy to understand what it takes to create true partnerships between patients and the healthcare system – and why it affects us all.

Welcome to the PiCC Pulse Podcast!

At PiCC United, we believe that patients shouldn’t just be participants in healthcare – they should be co-creators of the decisions that affect their lives. The PiCC Pulse Podcast takes the pulse of patient involvement, engagement and innovation in healthcare.

At PiCC United, our mission is to empower patients’ voices and make it easier for them to be involved in their own healthcare. We work to promote patient involvement in the development of new treatment methods, medical devices and treatment programmes. We strive to make it easier for patients to actively participate in their own healthcare and in the creation of innovative solutions. Our goal is to increase the diversity of voices and perspectives in healthcare, promote better ways to engage patients in health research and life sciences, and provide education and resources that enable more people to participate with confidence.

In each episode, we dive into the challenges, opportunities and solutions that are shaping the future of patient engagement.

We talk to patients, healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers and industry about how we can work together to create a more inclusive and meaningful healthcare system.
