Target group: The applicant is a legal person, non-governmental organization operating on the basis of public or private law registered in Estonia.
Purpose: The purpose of the support is to prevent and reduce injuries at home and to identify and support families at risk with infants and young children at an early stage.
Results: The output indicator of the support is the development and piloting of a methodology for the prevention of injuries in the home environment and a model for identifying families at risk with infants and young children. As a result of all implemented projects, a total of at least 500 specialists across Estonia must be trained to develop their knowledge and skills in reducing the risk of injury in the home environment and in identifying and supporting families at risk with infants and young children.
As a result of the support, at least 18 teams across Estonia apply the methodology of injury prevention in the home environment, and at least 40 families from at-risk groups across Estonia receive assistance from the identification and support service for infants and families with young children. At least one team must operate in North-Eastern Estonia.
