An accelerator programme for exciting early-stage start-ups using data as a core part of their business model to improve human health, run by the Francis Crick Institute and funded by LifeArc. Apply by 10 July
The programme
We run weekly virtual workshops on a wide range of topics, all tailored to the needs of early-stage data-driven health companies.
Our companies also have access to 1:1 mentoring with a hand-picked network of experts, as well as introductions to key investors and corporates.
Each cohort will have access to our network of alumni, experts, mentors, investors and corporates beyond the programme.
We are located in London’s Knowledge Quarter, and have success partners from across the UK and around the world.
At KQ Labs, we believe in investing in people and creating lasting connections.
Applications for this year’s intake are open until 23:59 BST on 10 July 2023
The programme is aimed at early-stage data-driven health entrepreneurs looking for support to validate their ideas and develop their business goals in a supportive and enriching environment. We are looking for start-ups who have:
- A focus on areas which have the potential to have a significant impact on health, and where use of data and software is a core part of the business model (this is what we define as data-driven health),
- Two or more team members,
- A Minimum Viable Product (MVP), prototype, or proof of concept,
- An early-stage company (pre-Series A),
- Their legal entity registered in the UK, and
- A team based in the UK.
You can apply in three simple steps. Once you start your application, we will ask you to:
- Fill out a quick online form telling us about you and your company,
- Submit a pitch deck of up to 12 slides, and
- Submit a two-minute recording of yourselves explaining what you see as the key aspects of your business (this is optional, but strongly recommended).
It is essential that your application follows the below requirements in order to be considered for the programme.
