Why become a member?
Our members are the core of our work. Become a member and join a growing group of people who play a role in everything we do – and who are determined to ensure that no one is facing a chronic illness alone. Together, we push for change, share our experiences and offer education to patients and professionals.
Membership can be obtained by individuals (including patients, relatives, and patient representatives). As a member of Patient in Focus, you receive a number of benefits; Among other things, offer participation in courses and conferences, active patient involvement and influence on Patient in Focus ’policy. In addition, you get the opportunity to meet a lot of exciting people, join the community and get involved in the fight to improve conditions for patients in Denmark.

Who can join?
Membership can be obtained by individuals (patients, relatives and patient representatives).
A member’s rights are personal and non-transferable or assignable. Membership rights terminate upon the death of a member or a person ceases to be a member.
Why is my application rejected?
Patient in Focus may, in its sole discretion, reject a person’s application to become a member without having to justify its decision. An applicant whose application for membership is rejected has the right to complain forbrugerklagenævnet against the refusal.
What is required of me as a member?
It takes nothing to be a member. You decide how active you want to be. Some participate in all activities, some participate occasionally, and others are members just to support Patient in Focus’ mission.
How old do I have to be to join?
Everyone can join Patient in Focus. Big and small – from elementary school students to retirees. We are disease neutral, so all diagnosis and disability are welcome.
How much is a private membership?
A private membership costs 14 EURO per year. You pay for a calendar year. No matter when you start your membership for the year, you pay dues again the same month the following year. You can only become a private member by paying an annual membership.
Patient in Focus reserves the right to cancel or exclude a membership that in the opinion of the Board of Directors opposes or harms our members, association and / or mission.
How can I pay my membership fee?
The membership fee can be paid via our shop.
Once the membership is created, the payment system will be registered for automatic drawing, which you will of course receive an email about – before we withdraw the money.
What happens if I do not pay my membership fee?
If a membership fee has not been paid, you will lose membership rights and benefits. Therefore, you will no longer be able to receive information or participate in activities and events.
Termination of membership
If you wish to opt out of Patient in Focus, please log in as a Member and deactivate your membership.
Who has access to my information?
Your information is protected by the Personal Data Act. Ie. that only Patient in Focus has access to your information and that it cannot be passed on to others without your permission unless required by law.
How do I change my information?
If you want to change your address, e-mail or phone number, you can do so at the member page. Please note that you are responsible for having your contact information changed.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Danish law, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
