Oulu organises an innovation competition that seeks solutions for patient pathways in the welfare area.

In the innovation competition, we are looking for a solution for the treatment path of the therapy areas of the two wellness areas in Northern Ostrobothnia, so that we can improve the care of the customers who receive our services.

We are looking for a solution to the following pain points:

Digital service path for incidental findings made in connection with CT imaging (cardiovascular diseases)

Remote monitoring and support of breast cancer patients (cancer diseases)

We encourage companies, professionals and individuals to participate in the innovation competition that opens on March 27, 2023. The presenters of the winning solutions for cancer and cardiovascular diseases will both be awarded a grant of €5,000 for development work.
The reward is awarded for working on and developing the proposed solution.

Solutions will be collected on 31.5. until , after which a panel of experts evaluates the solutions. The winners of the innovation competition will be announced in June 2023.

The competition is organized by the North Ostrobothnia welfare area, the University of Oulu and Roche.
