io Health dramatically improves Home Health

io Health grew out of our founder’s frustration with poor IT solutions in the home health space. Io Health was created to make life easier for our clinicians. In a new white paper, we show that it does that, and also improves HH bottom lines dramatically. Customers are starting to notice, and tell their friends. We have seen strong traction in the market, with over 50% monthly growth YTD.

David Bell, CEO of io Health, is excited to announce the release of their latest white paper, showcasing the transformative power of io Health‘s Io Assist AI-enabled charting tool at GrandCare Health Services. This tool has had a significant impact on home health documentation time and accuracy. Here are some of the highlights from the paper:

🌟 Improved Functional Scores: Clinicians using Io Assist saw an average increase of 7.8 points in functional scores for starts of care (SOCs). This result confirms the effectiveness of Io Assist in a real-world application. Accurate SOC scoring is essential for demonstrating clinical progress and earning top HomeHealth Valuebasedpurchasing (HHVBP) scores.

💰 Increased Revenue: The implementation of Io Assist led to a remarkable 9.1% increase in revenue per episode. This finding highlights the enormous cost of inaccurate charting and the huge potential benefit of improvement.

⏱️ Reduced Documentation Time: Clinicians using Io Assist experienced a reduction in visit plus documentation time of 5.1% (5.7 minutes) for SOCs. This efficiency gain not only boosts productivity but also enhances clinician confidence and satisfaction.

📈 Continuing Positive Trend: These results show a continued positive trend across all measured parameters, so we expect to see an improvement of these results over the coming quarters.

The feedback from clinicians has ranged from neutral to highly positive. We’re excited to share these results with the healthcare community and hope to continue to innovate and improve together.
