We are delighted to welcome Tobias Silberzahn, our new ECHAlliance Ambassador
With a strong background in biochemistry and immunology, Tobias has been actively involved in healthcare innovation for over 15 years. His extensive expertise and commitment to patient-centric solutions make him a valuable addition to our community.
We have had the privilege of working with Tobias for many years, and his dedication to transforming healthcare through digital solutions and patient advocacy has been truly inspiring. His deep understanding of the industry and his collaborative spirit have already contributed significantly to our shared mission.
Tobias is currently working with the Grameen organization, founded by Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus. As a Supervisory Board Member of Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions, he plays a key role in establishing a digital and physical care ecosystem in Bangladesh, focusing on pregnancy & birth care and cardiovascular disease management.
In Tobias’s own words: “Most health systems across the world are transforming – now, there is the opportunity to create digitally-enabled health systems to improve prevention, acute care and chronic disease management. Since most countries face similar questions, it is important to learn from each other what works – and the ECHAlliance is an important organisation to connect the dots.”
Brian O’Connor, Chair at ECHAlliance The Global Health Connector, shared his enthusiasm, stating: “We admire Tobias and his caring approach to the needs of others. We have had the benefit of his sage advice over the years and are delighted he has accepted our invite to join us as an Ambassador”
