For this Earth Day, we had the honour of interviewing Professor Hugh Montgomery, a leading figure in the fields of science, healthcare, and environmental sustainability. Professor Montgomery, a distinguished scientist and co-founder of “Real Zero”, shared invaluable insights.
In this interview, led by our ECHAlliance Chair Brian O’Connor, they explored the urgent need for environmental sustainability within the healthcare sector. They confront the stark reality that the global healthcare sector ranks as the fifth-largest emitter of greenhouse gases on the planet. With a focus on actionable insights, Professor Montgomery challenges conventional wisdom and offers practical solutions for individuals and organisations alike.
