The Health Sciences Research Unit: Nursing (UICISA: E) at the Nursing School of Coimbra (ESEnfC) keeps active and innovative!

The Nursing School of Coimbra (ESEnfC), heir to the most ancient nursing training in Portugal (since 1881), is a nationally and internationally recognized public institution due to its quality and innovation, with a recognized intervention in the health system and society. Its educational community is committed to the humanist, scientific, technical, and cultural training of socially recognized professionals, the promotion of accredited research, the dissemination of knowledge, and the provision of services.

UICISA: E’s main objective is to develop research in priority health areas to provide a relevant scientific contribution to knowledge advancement and promote quality healthcare; to conduct experimental and applied research in healthcare technologies for the development of medical devices/technical procedures; to train researchers, from initiation to advanced research, leading interdisciplinary research programs, and producing, disseminating, and applying scientific knowledge.

Over the last few weeks, several activities have been undertaken to answer UICISA: E’s goals. A lot of others are scheduled for the next weeks:
