Health Hub, the candidate European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) for the digital transformation of Health and Pharma, participated in the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). This year’s exhibition was to bring citizens closer to new digital services, technologies, innovations, and Greek production. With a mission to create a more digital future by leveraging the benefits of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Health Hub could not be missing from such an important event.

Health Hub’s presence in the 9-day TIF events from 11 to 19 September 2021 was marked by complete success at the stands of the Region of Thessaly and the University of Thessaly. These days were full of business meetings and networking opportunities. The EDIH had the chance to communicate its innovative approach and critical mission.

However, to credit where credit’s due, Health Hub’s success is owed to the successful organization of the 85th Thessaloniki’s International Fair despite the adversities due to COVID-19.

The 85th TIF was a prime example that events of such scale can still take place while safeguarding the safety of visitors and participants alike. This event meant a lot for Greece as it showed the country’s commitment to its economic and technological future in many sectors, including Health.

Health Hub’s role in digital transformation

Health Hub is set to be one of the main actors in Greece’s digital transformation of the Health and Pharmaceutical industry in the years ahead. The EDIH wants to bring about a revolution in the industry utilizing the capabilities provided by Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve the health services provided to European citizens.

Health Hub’s contribution to the Health and Pharma sectors will include:

  • Optimization of patient treatment & hospitalization
  • Smart Clinical Decision Support Systems
  • Improvement of the quality of results in the analysis of medical information (prognosis & diagnosis)
  • Increase in the productivity of medical staff
  • Reductions in the operating costs of health systems

Health Hub’s action planning

Health Hub aims to become a one-stop-shop for services delivered for the digital transformation services of SMEs and the public administrations of the health and pharma sector. Additionally, it will provide support to boost their outreach, precision, innovation capacity, and networking efforts.

Health Hub’s participation in the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair supports the overall efforts by Health and its partners to bring together the right people and organizations that can bring about the digital revolution in Health.

If you happen to share Health Hub’s vision or seek collaboration opportunities on Health using Artificial Intelligence, you should visit Health Hub’s official webpage and do not hesitate to come in contact with our team of professionals.
