The Public Administration School of Extremadura, the training centre for public employees in Extremadura, organised the seminar “Promoting the functional autonomy of the elderly”. This activity, part of the Training Plan 2022, was held from 28 March to 1 April in Mérida.
The objective was to improve the quality of working life of the care professionals presenting the daily risks for the elders and providing information to prevent situations that affect their autonomy.
On Tuesday 29 March, as part of this programme, FundeSalud informed about the European project ESSENCE (Empathic platform to personally monitor, Stimulate, enrich, and aSsist Elders aNd Children in their Environment).
